Summer Poems

These are poems that I thought readers may enjoy. They are from my primary blog, POEMS FROM OOSTBURG, WISCONSIN.

hummingbird
and hosta flowers
by the windows
in the sunroom
stillness

summer evening
quiet music and
a few Psalms
new evergreen growth
still in the sun

The day is thine, the night also is thine:
thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
Thou hast set all the borders of the earth:
thou hast made summer and winter.

Psalm 74: 16-17 (KJV)

kitchen window
open on a July day
bird songs and lilies

evening light
morning light
daylilies

And August 2022 begins today.
